Choosing the Perfect Yarn for a Soft & Squishy Lamb
Light super bulky yarn works beautifully for a soft, plush look. For the pictured crochet lambs, I’ve used Hobbii Honey Bunny which you can easily get online from Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn
However, you can easily adjust the size of your lamb plush doll, by switching to a different yarn weight and appropriate crochet hook size. See this scrapbusting post for some guidelines on to do this successfully!

Why This No-Sew Lamb Crochet Pattern is Perfect for Beginners
Even if you’re new to no sew amigurumi, this pattern is designed to be simple and stress-free. There’s no need to sew separate pieces together, so you can focus on the fun part—crocheting! The stitches used are mostly beginner-friendly, including single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), and slip stitches (ss). The pattern also introduces bobble stitches, which create the lamb’s soft and textured woolly look.
With clear instructions and a quick work-up time, this project is ideal for practicing basic shaping techniques .The light super bulky yarn makes it easy to see your stitches, and since the whole plushie is worked in one piece, there’s no fiddly sewing required. If you’ve ever wanted to try amigurumi but felt intimidated, this little lamb is a great place to start!
