Roland the Rhinoceros Stuffed Animal is ready for all the adventures your little one can imagine. When made with bulky (5) weight yarn like Bernat Crushed Velvet or Bernat Velvet he sits approximately 21 inches tall (I found the colours used for this pattern at www.yarnspirations.com) and is just as soft and squishy as he looks. Or use medium weight (4) yarn like Bernat Baby Velvet or Brava Worsted to make a slightly smaller version. Both sizes are perfect for cuddles, hugs and endless adventures.

This is the first pattern in the Cuddle Buddy series (see the Jungle Cuddle Buddies here) to feature a minimal sewing construction.  The head/body/limbs are all worked in 1 piece making him even quicker and easier to work up.

This rhinoceros stuffed animal crochet pattern also includes all NEW video tutorials to assist with…

  • Crocheting on the Legs
  • Crocheting on the Arms
  • Lining up the Head (to account for those cute little cheeks ;))
  • Crocheting the Head (Showing Round by Round of the trickier shaping portions)
  • Sewing on the Nails

Note: This is an Intermediate Design but the pattern includes detailed photos and links to stitch tutorial videos to help you along the way.
