As an artist, sometimes inspiration strikes and you just have to create your vision. That’s what happened with this Baby Crochet Lamb Pattern. I hadn’t planned on creating any more Easter related patterns, but couldn’t help myself once the idea popped into my head. I’m so glad I did. I love how this little lamb amigurumi came together. Along with the Bunnies and Chicks, the baby lamb pocket pal makes the perfect addition to Easter Baskets!

What Makes This Cute Crochet Lamb Pattern Different?

This sweet little lamb has been created with a similar construction to the Pocket Pal Bunny with the option for a minimal sewing design. After embroidering the nose, just the ears need to be sew in place. The lamb crochet pattern uses a bobble stitch to give its fleece texture. This is what makes it look extra cute and fluffy! Are you new to this stitch? Don’t worry! I’ve included a video tutorial (as well as written instructions) to show you how to complete the Bobble Stitch (bobble st.)!

Would your Easter crafting be complete, without the addition of a little chick?

How to assemble your Pocket Pal Baby Lamb Crochet Pattern

Sewing Placement – I highly recommend pinning ALL parts in place BEFORE sewing to make sure everything sits properly and is to your liking 🙂

Note:  Disregard sewing the legs if you’ve already crocheted them on.
Front Legs:
Place the front legs on the underside of the body (opposite side to the eyes) at approx Round 17 of the body about 2 sts apart. Sew in place.  When sewing the front legs in place I sewed the top of the last FULL ROUND DOWN instead of just the sts from crocheting the round together.
Back Legs:
Using the front legs as a guide.  Place the back legs at approx Round 25 of the body, approx 4 sts apart.  Sew in place. When sewing the back leg in place I sewed the top of the last FULL ROUND DOWN instead of just the sts from crocheting the round together.
Nose:  Follow video for embroidering the nose.   Video:     https://youtu.be/l6kOpvoMQDQAfter creating the ‘pink’ part of the nose, use black to create a ‘Y’ that outlines the sides of the nose and a vertical line below the centre of the nose.
Ears:
Fold the ears in half lengthwise and sew the smaller (3 repeat) end together.  Place between the bobbles of Round 12 on either side of the head. Sew in place.
Ribbon (optional):
Tie the ribbon around the neck.
